Hes' a mentor, a taxi driver, a handyman, maybe he's even been Mum as well - and for all that doesn't he deserve a quality celebration? Whether or not he wants a fuss...(And let's face it, deep down he probably does ;) it's important for you to help your guests celebrate Father's Day the best way they can!

We've put together some of our ideas that you could run with this Father's Day...

"Relish" in the Dad jokes...

Why not give the classic Social Media competition a new spin with a competition for The Best Dad Joke!? Entice potential customers to comment on your post with a clever graphic and some witty copy - rewarding the best joke in the comments with a prize of your choosing! Good examples include a complimentary dinner for the family, a 2-course meal for 2 or even bottomless pints for the days that's in it!

Father's feast for free...

It's simple. It's effective. It works. Get the whole family to celebrate Dad in your restaurant as he enjoys a well-deserved freebie! You can go little or big with this one, from a free beer to a free 2-course meal and that's the beauty of it - it's flexible to suit you!

The DAD-BOD buffet...

Get together with your head chef and prepare a set menu that screams DAD - let him load up on his favourite burgers, steaks, ribs and what not with a complimentary pint to wash it all down! Bring everyone together to share his favourite meals and memories at your establishment!

Non-promotional Poppa Appreciation

While getting families through your door is without a doubt a priority, it's important to provide them with an experience they will talk about for years to come and associate with you!

Venue permitting, you could surprise your guests with a musical act! A 70's/80's cover band to blast out all of Dad's favourites from way back when? That's one way to entertain the whole family that still puts him at the centre of attention.

Alternatively, you could hire someone (or ask a staff member) to exercise their photography skills and offer to take photos of the families after their orders have been taken! This is also a sneakily good way to drive people to your social, as you direct guests to your social page for their family portrait ;)

Whether it's a small gesture or a massive campaign, Father's Day is not a hallmark event one should dismiss. These are just some of the ideas generated by the team here at Socio! If you work with us, you can be sure that we will put together and deliver unique campaign ideas that set you apart from your competitors from Valentine's Day to Christmas and every event in between!
